RE:RE:"Que viva la libertad carajo!"Hi CountryBoy69, Ler's just say that I've worked with so many Brits and Americans that their pragmatism has rubbed off on me. The demand for hydrocarbons will accelerate. Renewables can't cut it. China's population is now shrinking and getting older. The trend is irreversible. It will soon cease to be "the world's factory". South Korea and Japan also have the same prroblem as does Russia and Quebec btw. The shrinking, aging population is because of two reasons 1) birth rates are below the 2.1 births per woman threshold needed to maintain a growing, young population and 2) immigration into those countries and Quebec is extremely low.
The countries that have booming growth in population because of high birth rates and/or immigration are Mexico, most of Latin America and the US. These countries will replace the Asian economies as the world's factory. Also add abundance of inexpensive hydrocarbons, close proximity to markets and abundance of major river systems and deep water ports to move goods along the production/supply chain. We just need to get the right managers and politicians in power.
