I saw your posts when you were selling and raising cash and see you're now buying. Very well done on your timing.
This reminds me a bit of the interest rate tantrum in 2013 when divy stocks got murdered. Luckily I was just entering full time retirement and so we were in the middle of transitioning from total return investors to dividend income/growth investors. Perfect timing for us as the beat-down was quite short lived.
This time is a little different in that inflation is a major issue so it is going to take a little longer to rebound.but I have absolutely no doubt that the divy stocks will eventually rebound and this will be looked back upon as a great buying opportunity.
As an aside, we no longer try timing the market and just buy whenever we accumulate an extra $5k of dividend cash so we've been buying throughtout the year.
