Plants consume Co2 and turn it into oxygen; that's a good thing.
The earth has changed over the millennia thousands of times, including several ice ages long before the Ford Model T was invented.
So, yes, there's climate change; but no, taxing people for "remediation" is useless. That money does nothing but enrich elite con artists and governments who have found an easy target to frighten; liberals and children.
The elite fly all over the world in jets; live in airconditioned mansions with heated bathroom floors; for them, it's a great con. Why don't they LIVE the way they preach? They know that humans can't control the climate but love the carbon tax and costly modifications that energy producers must make to comply with the fairy tale.
Many people are confusing weather with "climate change." Weather is influenced by many different factors, including el nino.
The so-called Paris Climate Accords is not binding on China but no, zero leftists picket the Chinese embassy demanding they switch from coal (they build one plant a day) even though China accounts for the lion's share of pollution.
Most people are beginning to realize the scam; it went from stories about a coming "ice age" to a fear of global warming. The two things are diametrically opposite so 'climate chang' covers everything. Scientists who disagree with the alarmists are blackballed and censored. If the sea level rises, we are mobile enough to MOVE away from oceanfront property. No global alarmists can say with any certainty what the new temperature averages would do if we were at zero carbon emissions; they can't control the weather or climate either. Ask an advocate "exactly what will the temperatures average in each country if we are at zero emissions?'
They can't answer because they don't know either. So I let the "higher power" determine what the world's climate will be in the future. You can disagree; that's fine. FYI, Canada contributes less than 2% of the world's Co2. Good luck "repairing" the climate and saving the world.
