And, according to their own website, and depending on what other treatments accompany Keytruda, patients may have to endure:
- tiredness or weakness
- nausea
- constipation
- diarrhea
- decreased appetite
- rash
- vomiting
- cough
- trouble breathing
- fever
- hair loss
- inflammation of the nerves that may cause pain
- paralysis in the arms and legs
- low red blood cell count
- low white blood cell count
- decreased platelet count
- high blood pressure
- urinary tract infection
- rash
- low levels of thyroid hormone
- liver problems
- swelling of the lining of the mouth, nose, eyes, throat, intestines, or vagina
- mouth sores
- headache
- weight loss
- stomach-area (abdominal) pain
- joint and muscle pain
- trouble sleeping.
They also advise that this is an incomplete list of possible side effects!
That list is what I like to call: the usual Monday at work....
