Stepping Closer to Completion: Wells @ Steveville Connected Royal Helium Ltd. (TSXV: RHC) (OTCQB: RHCCF) closed 3% in the green today after announcing that all component modules for its Steveville Helium Plant plant are now on-site, and both the site's helium wells are connected.
Mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation contractors have been working on-site since mid-June to install and integrate components as they arrive. With the final components arriving last week, the project is moving into the final assembly phase and preliminary commissioning.
The Steveville plant is designed to process 15,000,000 cubic feet/day of raw gas from the two helium wells at Steveville, Alberta. It aims to produce 22,000 mcf of 99.999% helium per year.
The plant is engineered to operate for 25 years, with the wells expected to remain productive for a minimum of 9 years. The plant will also generate fuel gas for its operations and up to 22,000,000 pounds of commercial CO2, potentially creating an additional revenue stream for Royal.
