Sentiment towards REITs right now is so negative that logic doesn't seem to matter. Higher interest rates, an always-on-the-horizon recession, inflation, headlines about new COVID strains, wildfires - you name it - all of these have caused investors to dump and run regardless of the health of companies like HOT. 


im still nibbling away trying to get my average cost down because I know, at some point, things will improve. But it feels like a long, lonely road ahead. Glad I'm not the only one wondering why equities like these are priced as low or lower than during the pandemic.
