Tesla has cut their prices numerous times and the market is only going to be further saturated in the future. As a result, profit margins are going to become significantly lower.
if we go into a recession (mild or severe), do you actually think that people are going to be purchasing Teslas or EVs for that matter? Absolutely not. This is going to further force manufactures to cut prices and profit margins. When it comes to stocks such as Tesla ( down around 25% in the past months), there is a significant risk that these stocks continue their downtrend in recession environment. It's my opinion that the stock is currently significantly overvalued as is.
Oil demand is near an all time high and is set to increase for years to come. Will there be a time when it's time to cut ties with oil investments? Yes, but that time is not right now.
