RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Amazing what a little tweeting does !🤞Institutions typically do not take positions in companies that have not secured financing for operations.
Please point to any institution in North America that has a mandate that allows them to invest in:
-pre-development mining
-non-financed projects
-market cap under $500m
-stock price under $3
Institutional ownership happens upon the announcement of financing and the complete derisking of a project -- not a second before.
I guarantee this -- once the deal is announced and the stock pops (and monkey sells) institutions will soak up all the shares of those departing investors who have waited sooooo long for the pop....then the institutions will make their 4x-5x in a few years while all of the retail folks who became so impatient will be gonzo and will have made their 1.5x-2x maximum....
It's getting pretty old reading about how mgmt isnt communicating enough, about how everything is mismanaged, about how some people sold 50% a while ago and are burning to sell the other 50%.....
CRE is one of the very very very few projects in NORTH AMERICA to get fully permitted, reclamation plan, agreement with first nations, huge cash balance in bank.....and to NOT have sold forward its production at unfavourable rates. Quite frankly -- this is probably one of the BEST managed situations in North America and if you want to keep throwing eggs do so towards the Government and the Government agencies and Government like agencies that have ALWAYS controlled the timeline and the permitting process and everything.....that is your scapegoat...not mgmt.
Its laughable that so many are crying that Mgmt does not communicate -- and as soon as they do -- the same people are up in arms becuase its not enough, not clear enough, does not tell them exactly what they want...blah blah blah......here's an idea - call up Microsoft and ask them to give you a very specific date and time of their next aquisition and the pricing and who it will be with and how much it is worth and how the market will take the news....get back to all of us with the fullsome answer you get. Better yet -- ask any company to do that....let the board know what sort of disclosure you recieve....
Just look at Canada's housing crisis -- do you think there are not enough houses or housing units because of the builders -- of course not. It is because of the Government at all levels and their poor planning, lack of granting permits etc etc.....you want a villian in Canada - look towards Govt.
If you disagree and still think this is all Mgmt's fault -- then you are a fool for remaining in a stock that you think your own Mgm't team is destroying.
Its absurd to think that JS and team did not want to get this done earlier -- of course they did. For one reason - becuase JS and family probably own about 8m shares and have at least 8m reasons to get this done....a far cry from what most people on this board own.
So much complaining when the stock is down....KNOW WHAT YOU OWN....if you do that you may realize that (as a former poster mentioned) when the price of a great asset declines it's an opportunity.
