RE:BEV dream is overOF COURSE - I've said it all along. We just don't have the electric infrastructure to go all electric. California had brown outs a week after legislating no gasoline powered cars in the state after 2030.
Ask anyone with an electric car that wants to travel any great distances how much extra effort is required to get charged up. Then ask someone who drives in northern colder climates what challenges that presents. Hybrids are the way to go until more time passes.
No "Common Cents" out there these days. Kneejerk reactions only. We just aren't ready and we're also on the cusp of a world recession. Give it more time and the horror stories about replacing a spent car battery will start coming out. Consider costs and environmental issues with that.
Not that it matters to Sherritt because they can not sell anything to the USA anyways, hence $0.46.
