RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:HPQ/PYR tech will dominate many industries
And here is a copy of the HPQ Silicon description from the top of the page. You can see the reference to 'quartz' as being SiO2 (silica) as referenced in the previous descriptive post. Also it is the finished product 'Silicon' that is the semi-conductor whereas silica in the raw does not conduct electricity.
"HPQ Silicon Inc. is a Canada-based silicon solutions company. The Company is engaged in developing a portfolio of high-value-added silicon (Si) products sought after by battery and electric vehicle manufacturers, among other industries. It is engaged in developing the PUREVAPTM Quartz Reduction Reactors, which can permit the one-step transformation of quartz (SiO2) into high-purity silicon (Si). It is developing the PUREVAPTM Nano Silicon Reactor (NSiR) through its subsidiary, HPQ NANO Silicon Powders Inc. NSiR is a process that can use material produced by the QRR as feedstock, to make a wide range of nano/micro spherical powders and nanowires of different sizes. Through its subsidiary, HPQ Silica POLVERE Inc., the Company is developing a plasma-based process that allows direct Quartz to Fumed silica transformation, removing the use of hazardous chemicals in the making of Fumed silica and eliminating the hydrogen chloride gas associated with its manufacturing."
