well Dave, you and ventura post a lot about 'volume' - implying volume is a key indicator of a stocks success.
You post that 'over 50 million shares have already been purchased' - but shouldnt that read '50 million shares traded'?
Can you explain why you feel Tilrays number of shares traded today is such a big indicator?
Just for comparison, here are some of the US MSOs - the ones that will actually benefit from SAFE, the Farm Bill and the possibility of re-scheduling to Tier 3
Share price % Shares
Increase Increase Traded
Green Thumb $ 1.94 20.68 2.4 million
Verano .59 16.38 2.8 million
Scotts 3.27 6.0 1.2 million
Ayr .33 29.46 1.0 million
Cresco .31 22.79 3.0 million
Curaleaf .70 19.33 3.0 million
Trulieve 1.21 25.37 2.2 million
Tilray .34 10.83 80.0 million
As you may know, I own the bottom 4 of the US MSO stocks above. I care less how many shares were traded, all I know that Tilray traded 80 million shares for a .34 cent share price increase -about the same as when they announced the 8 craft beer purchases.
Trulieve share price increased by $ 1.21 - with 2.2 million shares traded.
You can't spend % increases - and you can't spend shares traded, I'll take the cash, thanks.
So, why do you feel Tilray trading 80 million shares is so important a factor?

Over 50 millions shares have been already been purchased with
2 1/2 hours left to trade.
Just imagine the volumes when these recommendations start turning into laws thru out the fall of 2023
