Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

The Oil market is unbelievably dynamic at this point with so many factors influencing supply and demand I think anyone would be naive to think that they can narrow it down to a couple of things...not to mention, what is real in this day and age...Honestly?

Crude gettting shipped around internationally by Shadow ships from other countries turning off their tracking beacons?

In my opinion, Saudi Arabia's willingness to tinker with the supply side ( making cuts) offers much of the strength we are seeing in the crude markets...

Demand continues to be strong around the world, even in China as they grapple with a significant Real Estate crisis...Oil demand seems to be steady from the articles I've read.

We've seen a lot of volatility as of late, and until we get a sense of direction, commital of investors to higher Oil prices will lag...
