RE:RE:RE:Oil futures market is showing us some love...Nextlegup, Yes beacons turned off. I live in Venezuela. Acute gasoline and diesel shortages. Today we get word from the national oil company PDVSA that a tanker loaded with 350,000 barrels of gasoline is due to arrive. The local media says that it's from Iran. The US has sanctions on both Venezuela and Iran. No ships carrying hydrocarbons are allowed to operate, with some exceptions like Chevron shipping oil from Venezuela. Violation results in severe actions from the US Treasury and State departments which can include freezing of bank accounts and being kicked off the US banking grid. We have the headquarters of the US Southern Command close by on Curacao. They could easily stop and seize that tanker. But that might cause an international incident that could result in retaliation in the Persain Gulf that might really restrict supply. Yeah I don't believe a f'n thing that the IEA or API reports.
