RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Will Rio act before Nov 28 ?Nobody is going to loan WRN funds on a "go-it-alone" basis. No need to even enterain such a thought.
True, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. That being said, I don't think a bird in hand is necessarily worth three or four in the bush. I"m in the camp whereby I can wait for the larger rewards once gold revalues.
If you don't think gold will revalue under a new monetary system, I'm not certain what about gold gets you excited in the first place. If you're just here for the copper play, I fully understand why you would be happy with a double or a triple and take Sooner's $6 buyout forecast.
Copper is pedestrian, whereas gold has a much brighter future. Copper is no slouch, but it won't surpass gold's gains in the future.
It seems from what I've read, copper vs. gold isn't so much an issue as the copper majors want more exposure to gold and the gold majors want more exposure to copper. Both RIO and NEM need a project such as Casino. The question remains is will RIO buy us out sooner on the cheap or will NEM come in later when gold is screaming to new highs?
We won't get a fair price for Casino in an environment where $2k gold is the celing. Give me $2.5k gold as a floor and now we're talking. If you don't think we'll get there, you might want to rethink why you are investing in gold juniors.
Cheers!
