RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WTI above $85

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WTI above $85Baytex was was more leveraged than most other companies still in existence. It came very close to failing and it's share price reflected it. Instead of comparing Baytex to existing companies compare it to its peers in 2012. You will discover that Baytex was much more middle of the pack and not such an outlier. What happened is most companies as bad or worse than Baytex are no longer going concerns.

When Baytex was under $0.50 - I think it got down to around $0.30 - I was buying into oil, but no way was I buying Baytex, I didn't have the brass ones for it. Solo en retrospectiva es Baytex la gallina de los huevos de oro.

It is great that you are learning about the industry, but having a macro understanding over time can help interpret specific facts and figures today.

Kelvin wrote: That happened to all companies. Why did bte lose (50.00 - 0.50)/50.00 x 100 = 99% of it's value? And people are wondering why this company is undervalued? People don't trust the management. The market has a big discount on the company because of it. Just wait till the Ranger acquisition starts really cranking out the cash!
