BACKDOOR DEALS

BACKDOOR DEALSCorrect me if I am wrong but no one here sees one entity or consortium buying out artis for say $10-13 when they can accumulate all day in the $7's, also having to take on all of artis' debt stack and public securities.

Now depending on what real estate hedge funds and private equity partners Manji has in his circle, they may be interested in say, taking the industrial assets only, or retail assets, off their hands for a moderate discount in bulk.   Something like 900m for industrial, 800m in retail, and 1.3b in office.

What if artis sold 1 billion in assets to a buyer for 900m, the buyer gets a nice 10% discount.  900m after mortgages etc can retire the floating debt stack and leave 200m for a SIB.    That's all he needs really
