RE:RE:Preservative free dry powder oat beta glucan..."A dry formulation would also allow Ceapro to pursue the large nutraceutical and functional food/drink markets where oat beta glucan has a well known health claim for cholesterol reduction." CZO developed the beta glucan pill and it unfortunately wasn't enough. Another company, with an inferior beta glucan, tested a drink in humans and it performed as CZO had hoped. Will the development of a dry powder beta glucan with Symrise probably for cosmetic applications further open up the powder drink market to CZO? CZO's preservative free powder product could have a number of advantages over the other company's drink that worked in humans.

The recent CZO news release about the extension of the Symrise deal and pursuit of a preservative free powder beta glucan doesn't say if it is using PGX but with CZO's plans to scale-up PGX now in motion is the CZO/Symrise partnership using PGX drying technology?
About PGX:
"Benefits for the existing personal care market include being able to make preservative free product, an increase in shelf life, and a 98% reduction in shipping weights and associated greenhouse gasses by removing the water. A dry formulation would also allow Ceapro to pursue the large nutraceutical and functional food/drink markets where oat beta glucan has a well known health claim for cholesterol reduction. Unfortunately current standard drying technologies like spray drying or freeze drying are not feasible options for oat beta glucan, as well as many other biopolymers. A new technology was then needed, and that new technology is PGX." CZO 2014 news release
