Obsidian Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and production company. The Viking is a light oil, horizontal development play located in central Alberta. Its operations are focused on the Esther area. Peace River is a stable, cold-flow, base production asset. It operates on a contiguous and an acreage within the heart of the Peace River Oilsands region.

i did not purchase this stock for dividends today. I do want management to get the best value for the profits they make. Buy stock back when its under valued. Which they have done. Pay down debt to a resonable level and then start a small dividend that you know you will never have to cut. Again I will give them a couple of more quaters to get this done. If not I will invest elsewhere.
