RE:RE:Load Up ? The timing is off for sure... I don't like they did this, they had enough in the pipe as it was. And they could of used extra cash to purchase more dividends.
But ENB will survive. The market doesn't like it. Share dilution and debt with the global economy teetering on a potential downturn. The good news is that gas (primarily used for heating, power) is one of the last things people cut back on in a recession so the cash flow will continue. I think the dividend is safe. The new assets aren't dead weight, they will carry themselves and maybe in time with the synergy of being under Enbridge umbrella they will pull more.
Not a bad time to sit back and let it DRIP and just build up, wait for the ship to come in. Unfortunately a bad time to sell if you needed the cash for something. We need much patience.
