The thrill of the drill is the killer here.

No, EK...Snidely was correct when he said that by publishing a N43-101 it rather fixes the perception of what a company has to the market...even though - for all the cost to produce one - they are essentially redundent by the time they publish!
With NFG, at the rate that the company is making new discoveries (and upping the body count in terms of ounces), a 43-101 now would literally be "yesterday's news"! But that is what the market looks at...and it certainly would be used against the company...so I have to disagree with your cheap shot.
Skeena approached the issue in a sensible way...as they would release the n43-101 (and updates), they would Always put a rejoinder into that document that stated that the information stated did not include the numbers from Snip/Albino/whatever (stuff that all following the stock already were aware of)...so it was clear that this was a "work in progress" and not a definitive statement. I didn't grasp how clever this strategy was back then...but I sure do now.
So EK - given that you figure your current 5000 shares (maybe) gives you the right to consistently cr*p on the company from a dizzy height - keep going...you know that we will show you all due respect.
