RE:RE:Business Structure and Liability

RE:RE:Business Structure and LiabilityWampumgrabber, can you expand on what happen to you?   I assume you held BPY commons, then it was taken private, then the spin-off  (BN/BAM).

If you had 1000 shares of BPY, what did you end up with?   How many BN and/or BAM shares did you get?

Trying to understand, and just guessing....

When BPY was take private ......
"Subject to pro-ration, BPY unitholders will have the ability to elect to receive, per BPY unit, $18.17 in cash, 0.3979 of a Brookfield class A limited voting share (Brookfield Shares), or 0.7268 of a BPY preferred unit with a liquidation preference of $25.00 per unit. "

So I'm guessing you would have gotten 1000x0.3979=397.9 BAM shares?

Brookfield Asset Management Reaches Agreement with Brookfield Property Partners to Acquire 100% of BPY Units | Brookfield Property Partners

Then the spinoff  ......
"
each holder of Class A Shares will receive 1 Manager Class A Share for every 4 Class A Shares held"

397.9/4= 99.473 "new BAM" shares
and  397.9 BN shares?????

Is this correct?  1000 BPY ended up to be about 99 BAM and 398 BN shares?

And before all this.... BPY bought BPO I believe with BPO prefers guaranteed by BPY as I understand.

All just my opinion/view/thinking/guessing/trying to follow what happend with my head spinning.
