I have a slightly different frustrating take:While the company's progress has been expedient and efficient, the shareholders (retail, institutional and private) have not seen any type of positive reaction when it comes to share pricing. None. For just over 4 years I have been a shareholder and an investor, and my investment in CNC has been cut/decreased by over 75%. Not a single increase in share price has held in the last 2 years. By any standard measurement, my investment has been detrimental to the portfolio.
The share price is manipulated on an almost daily basis as proven by the last tiny run to $1,24 so that Aurumet warrants, shares etc look reasonable. During the discussions on this board, we retail investors (who have relative substantial skin) in the company have been decimated. We depend on the public knowledge gleaned from notices, news releases, and MS feeding partial truths into the paid media outlets.
While MS and board knew about the 60 plus page ESG report issued today patting themselves on the back (it takes multiple man hours to issue such a promotional report), the Auramet bridge loan for another 5 months (multiple hours), and the running commentary showing how knowledgeable MS can be about the metal market, it has added up to what exactly in terms of share price? MonetaryBenefit for the shareholders? Nothing I can do, but needed to vent.
