So you just prove my point. Bonds markets do not forecast an increase in a probability of financial distress for Sherritt in the next 24 months given the situation that exist now and what is expected in the next 24 months. In fact, despite the doom and gloom scenarios, the risk profile has improved and the bond market is more bullish than it was. Thinking about it, despite increase in interest rates and decrease in nickel and cobalt price, bond price have held their own or increase.
Hey, of course, tommorow can bring a major recession (should be already priced in however) or a black swan whatever it is. And then the bonds will be worth way less. But what happens if something positive happens ?
So, the way I see it, Binedell financial turnaround is working and at some point in time, shareholders will reap benefits.
