RE:RE:Cematrix Road Base for Ontario Municipal RoadAs you can see on the map, the section of road base being completed by Cematrix is just outside the City of Cambridge and just south of Highway 401. 

My understanding is that the Lafarge/Cematrix/University of Waterloo road base study was conducted on Notre Dame Dr. in St. Agatha according to old news releases, which is just on the other side of the tri-city area (Kichener/Waterloo/Cambridge). It is likely that Wellington County engineers have observed the test road base in St. Agatha and liked what they saw!

Cematrix road bases are well known in their home-town of Calgary - and now they may have a foot-hold in this fast-growing area of Ontario as well, where soils similar to Calgary, are good for agriculture, but pose specific challenges for road construction.
