RE:RE:RE:Keys to Successful Investing Over the Long RunNicely put MC.  I do believe we are either on the brink of a change in the guard, or on the brink of a nasty revolution.  But I have said that before and been wrong.  

It's been said that in anything we do there is the rule of thirds:
1/3 of the people believe and are all in for the goal;
1/3 of people have their head in the sand and are unresponsive; will put in a modicum of effort if prodded;
1/3 doubt the outcome and will work against it, whether overtly or passive-aggressively.

So for any goal, it is 1/3 against 2/3.  Which means that unless you have a significant motivator for the middle group, things can last a lot longer at a more or less flatline of little movement.

I will take your refreshing thoughts (of a policy course correction - that is coming) and keep the negative in the background for now....it;s only Monday.
