RE:RE:Re Conference callI have always found the company will answer any questions I ask, unless it is info they are not disclosing to anyone. I think the competitive nature of the business and the long lead time to product approval is frustrating to all, including Dr. SN, but I am very pleased with the progress being made.
Large banks would add to investors comfort level, but in reality the accuracy of large bank research is no better than anyone else. Comfort food, but no nutrition..
GRA is difficult because Dr. SN is so conservative and frugal that he is not likely to pay excessive merchant banking fees, and seems to not be interested in selling additional equity.
Having Volta wholly owned is a great move that makes sense, but it cuts down the IB opportunities as well.
With the sales contract in place GRA should be able to do a credit facility backed by receivables for Volta, and those structures are not expensive to put in place. They may also have access to capital from their customer. I am very impressed with Dr. SN's fiscal discipline, and I am sure that is frustrating to Investment Bankers who want to do deals fast and expensive. This stock will need patience yet i think, but I am getting more comfortable as they beat expectations each quarter.
I believe they are doing a search for a good IR professional now, but those are hard to find, and have to be the right fit. They seem to have hired some great talent elsewhere in the company, I am confident they will continue that trend.
Best of luck
