Another point to keep in mindI may have already mentioned this before at some point in the past, but it begs repeating....
For those HNW individuals and savvy investors who were invested in WRN in 2011 at $4 USD a share, they expect reasonable returns on their investments. If you understand the "rule of 7", this implies about a 100% return on your investment every 7 years.
Let's do the simple math: a double in 7 years (2018) would be $8 USD. Another double in 7 years (2025) would be $16 USD. If I have to wait another year plus to get this type of return, I am willing to do that.
But, for those who advocate a $3 to $6 return in a buyout, could you really look the investors who have built this company from day one in the eyes and ask them to take such a paltry return after 18 years?!
For the record, I am not one of those HNW investors nor have I been on board since day one. But, it isn't too hard to figure out what they are thinking, it is the same thing I am thinking: double digits USD or no deal. We got the goods, if you wanna play ball we have to be treated fairly.
