The venture exchange is traditionally where retail goes to gamble.  Which Jr Mining Co is going to strike gold?  "Investors" want to get rich quickly here.  The marginal dollar is fun money.

Many people don't manage their retirement money so this is a way to experience the excitement of the market.

If the large institutional buyer wasn't hoovering up shares I would be buying on the super cheap even though my position is massive.

Reitmans stock has a built in Put at $3 while Aritzia keeps hitting 52 week lows at $22.53.

Knowing how to pair trade separates the wheat from the chaff.

It's truly disturbing that management hasn't taken the simple steps to uplist back to Toronto yet.  Their complete disregard for their shareholders is clear, yet inexplicable.
