Maybe the largely one-sided 'climate disaster' narrative will finally see a robust, vociferous, and very public challenge.
>>>California Sues Oil Giants Claiming Deception, Harm to Climate (Bloomberg) -- California sued major oil companies including Exxon Mobil Corp. and Shell Plc, saying they deceived the public for decades while creating or contributing to local climate catastrophes....The action includes some of the strongest allegations against oil giants as the state deals with increasingly destructive storms and weather events, from ravaging wildfires to “atmospheric rivers.” California has spent, and will continue to dish out, billions of dollars to recover from climate catastrophes, the complaint said.

there is a big difference between smoking and using fossil fuel.
there is absolutely no disagreement among scientists and medical professionals on harm of smoking. Plenty of science and medical evidence to link negative health to tobacco.
However, the science is not settled on effect burning fossil fuel to climate change. There are plenty of scientists disagree with IPPC and green activists narrative.
