Is the Thelon basin dead?

Is the Thelon basin dead?As I understand it the Thelon basin in Nunavut has geology similar to the Athabasca basin. The Kiggavit deposit in the Thelon basin is part owned by UEC (30%?) and operated by Orano. A few years ago Orano (Areva) proposed a $2.1B mine and it was rejected supposedly because no start and end dates were specified. From news reports at the time, there appears to have been strong community opposition to the mine.

I've been looking into Thelon as FMC has a recent strike there. They took over all Cameco's claims when they lapsed. I contacted FMC to see what their strategy was regarding community relations and Rick Mazurka (CEO) got back to me and said (as would be expected) they take community relations seriously and efforts will be ongoing. He also indicated the benefits the community enjoys from the Meadowbank gold mine (Agnico) has had some influence on the community.

With the Orano mine rejected and Cameco pulling out is the area dead for Uranium, or is development an eventuality when the U price is right?
