RE:RE:RE:RE:Undo Line 5 Shutdown Order Ottawa’s Filing Urges U.S. Courtbt....given his track record on doubling the National Debt since he got elected I suspect that he really doesn't care about balancing the budget.
During Covid....he would come out of Rideau Cottage with a new set of goodies every single day for some demographic with little regard for the increase in the debt or whether people really needed the money or not. I recall during that time, kidding a friend that Trudeau has given out a handout to everyone except senior sand then lo and behold the the next day he announced $300 tax free to everyone over 65. As I mentioned on SH before, when I saw that I said to my wife "I am going upstairs to the office and giving that $600 to the Food Bank to help people who actually need the help".
To put Trudeau into perspective, he took about 6 years to double the National Debt that took 150 years to accumulate!! But the really sad part of all that is that he said he was going to increase the debt and people voted for him with little regard to the burden that would be faced by future generations.
