Hey Amber just a bit of follow up work on my part from the picture posted on twitter by the Hedgeless Horseman of Fathom's drill core which he stated was taken at the Colorado School of Mines. So below I posted a paragraph from Goliath's recent news release which states they have worked with the Colorado School of Mines. I do believe since Quinton Hennigh has a close affiliation with that school he often works with the companies he and Crescat are invested in to help them make discoveries and will get that school to analyze drill core. The rock can tell you a lot about the geology and origin of its source and what type of event caused it to form. Not sure if you remember Quinton talking about Fathom's drill core at Gochager on one of his Crescat's recent presentations but he said the massive sulphides most likely was very near a feeder source because of the formation of the sulphides in the core were settled during a high fluid flow event. So he felt that Gochager intersection was very near a feeder source. That is the type of information that Quinton Hennigh provides with the help of the Colorado School of Mines to these companies to help increase their chances of success.
That is Quinton Hennigh's passion after all with making brand new discoveries and creating enormous new wealth for all stakeholders involved. So I'm almost certain that the picture posted yesterday of the drill core on twitter was indeed massive sulphides from one of Fathom Nickel's properties. I would think it was from a previous drill program. But yes the poster of the picture could have indeed been more clear and stated it's origin at the time of the initial posting of the picture. I hope that helps clarify a few things for you.
All the occurrences of visible gold to date have been identified within quartz-breccia and veins in contact with or in close proximity to sphalerite and/or galena mineralization. The occurrence of visible gold has previously been independently confirmed in 2022 by the Colorado School of Mines, with whom the company is collaborating on a project aimed at determining the origin and evolution of the gold mineralizing fluids at Surebet.
