RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Fatality Kamoa-Kakula - Halt on underground mining operationWe are talking about "deaths" not "workplace accidents"; and "death" is not a "common aspect of the business, particularly in places like Africa", I doubt that anyone within Ivanhoe or RF would describe this in such terms as you did.

KK fatalities go back to 2019; Platreef in 2020. So, any way you take this: IVN as a business has to implement very high safety standards, and enforce these; management needs to be on top of that, otherwise this is an organizational issue (or systematic).

Ivanhoe's press release should have read: "we are applying - irrespective of the location of projects - the highest safety standards being also employed by other leading international firms; and we constantly improve on those".
