RE:RE:RE:Lakewood sold and some of the equipmentYea, hemp cbd was a legal way to test out some flavours and the shareprice flirted with $2 C.
It was a way to taste test the recipes to the market for the switchout to thc when they could.
The shareprice of just about any pot stock was elevated on hype and not fundamentals and for most of them, this is still the case.
A CBD offering could be a leading sku and even the old attempt at a CBD creamer could be a winner sitting on Starbucks shelves for an extra couple of bucks with your $5 coffee.
Tilray switched in a heartbeat to the thc infused versions and caught the same wave down as almost all of the other players but from a revenue generation point of view, cbd had wider market potential for sales and revenue and some competitive brands got a toehold.
Building our own bottling facility, in hindsight, turned out to be a waste of time and money at this conjecture and Blaze did a lucrative deal, for Blaze, by jumping on board with their deal with Tinley that leaves a shred of hope for existing shareholders.
It amazes me that TNY is still trading and with some million share buys suggests that some investors think there is money to be made.
If our award winning recipes have value it could be amazing in the right hands if we don't lose those recipes for debt covering.
The points I was trying to make with Hemplify was that the market gave it a $2 ish share value and it was an easier sell to get shelfspace than THC was and still is. The hoops and licenses and inspections and multi-levels of government who's azzes needed kissing to sell Tinleys far exceeded the Hemplify. I seem to remember Hemplify got some special mention and possibly one of the thc versions was copied from the Hemplify recipe but none of our offerings had a steady supply to fill repeat orders, if there were repeat orders and it was easier to put cbd skus on shelves with less regulation than thc offerings.
It won't be long to find out how Blaze is going to treat us, so there is that hope!
A CBD offering could do well under the Becketts no alcohol no pot version sku as people are willing to try cbd beverages which means it could niche out some marektshare. If there was some kind of recognition for the old cbd sku, that would probably be a good place to start.
Whatever we are trying to hawk out to consumers we need to be able to provide it in a steady stream and we need retailers.
Tinley should be able to concentrate on those points with Blaze taking the responsibility of co-manufacturing for clients and self.
