I remmeber looking at my REITS last september after a hawkish jackson hole, and if you thought back then that hey, maybe we get through some hikes and some pain, and 1 year from now things will be looking up.. well, just riocan and pmz are the only reits doing a tad better. The rest, high debters, and office, got flushed, down another 30-40%. Whose to say it cant repeat going into Sept 2024?
