Nickel Creek Platinum Corp T.NCP

Alternate Symbol(s):  NCPCF

Nickel Creek Platinum Corp. is a Canada-based mining exploration and development company. The Company’s principal business activity is the exploration and evaluation of nickel and platinum group metals (PGM) mineral properties in North America. Its flagship asset is its 100%-owned nickel-copper PGM project, located in the Yukon Territory, Canada (Nickel Shaw Project). The project is in the southwest of Canada's Yukon Territory, approximately 317 kilometers (km) northwest (NW) of the capital, Whitehorse. The Nickel Shaw Project is a large undeveloped nickel sulphide project, with a unique mix of metals including copper, cobalt and platinum group metals. The Nickel Shaw Project has access to infrastructure, located three hours west of Whitehorse via the paved Alaska Highway, which further offers year-round access to deep-sea shipping ports in southern Alaska. The Company also maintains environmental baseline activities, considers optimization alternatives and seeks other opportunities.

Let's take a trip down memory lane....
Former Owner : Prophecy Resources

History
Back in 2010 / 2011 / 2012
https://data.geology.gov.yk.ca/Occurrence/17432#InfoTab

Wardrop's Tech Report
Only included 2010 and former drill results.

2011 + 2012 drill programs involved stepouts
And... trying to connect Central Zone with.... East Zone with West Zone.

What was Phrophecy... intercepting in 2011 ?

Prophecy drills 120.9 meters grading 1.26 g/t PGM+Au, 0.36% Ni, 0.30% Cu within
457 meters grading 0.47% NiEq at Yukon Wellgreen project

https://www.mining.com/subscribe-login/?id=178978

Wardrop's Tech report only covers
East + West zones.

EAST ZONE
14 308 000 tonnes Indicated
Ni 0.69%   Cu 0.62%  Pt 0.99/g  Pl 0.74/g  Au 0.54/g  Co .05%

EAST ZONE INFERRED
219,327,000 tonnage inferred
Ni 0.39%   Cu 0.39%  Pt 0.54/g  Pl 0.45/g  Au 0.26/g  Co .03%

WEST ZONE INFERRED
69,919,000 tonnes inferred
Ni 0.34%   Cu 0.38%  Pt 0.50/g  Pl 0.34/g  Au 0.12/g  Co .02%

YEAR 2010 - EAST + WEST + ALL CATEGORIES COMBINED
2,570,189,560 billion lbs ( Nickel )
2,570,683,520 billion lbs ( Copper )
9,876,319 million oz of ( Pt, Pl combined )
191,258,90 million lbs ( Cobalt )
2,342,617 million oz ( Gold )

2011 + 2012
Drilling also expanded the overall size of the deposit.
But were not included in Wardrops resource calculations
Scan above to Prophecy's 2011 intercept ( beauty )

457 meters grading 0.47% NiEq

Wardrop never factored....
Tellurides
Iron

Titanium
Wardrop’s 2011 technical report and resource estimate included all diamond drilling completed to the end of 2010 but did not include all historic drill core assays for the 6 Platinum Group elements. (platinum, palladium, osmium, iridium, ruthenium, and rhodium)

AGAIN -  compare Wardrops 2011 resource calculation to...
NCP's 2023 resource calculations.

So.... if East and West zone calculations are separate from the
Central Zone ( inbetween connective ) why is the former resource larger
than current 2023 ?

Central connective zone still has minerals but lower grades.

My best guesstimate is...
Infill drilling to bump up the east west zone inferred categories
may have resulted in lessor grades or sporadic mineralized zones
affecting continuity.

Or.... more drill emphasis placed on central zone to connect
east to west = form a larger strike and as a result ?
Central zone low grades were mixed with east + west ???

Hence - i myself....
would've kept east and west stand alones and proved each up.
Not blending, not drilling the central.

As one can read...
Nickel Creek Platinum has a treasure trove of minerals.
Broad variety.
Many exempt from the resource calc.

And as pointed out...
CNC accounts for their IRON values.
Wink

Cheers...
