RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Difficult post to makeGuys it's a slow morning for me so I have a little time to kill. If I am spamming the board about stuff nobody is interested in then just give me a head's up and I will stop.

Kelvin I hope you understand that I am NOT pro climate change.  My point is that Canada is not the reason we have global warming- I mean climate change. I know retiredgeo specified that looking at Canada in isolation won't solve the climate change issue, but he also added that China and India will do their thing IN ISOLATION. It's contradictory to his point. My point is that we are are paying a carbon tax for something that we are not responsible for while the main climate polluters are ignoring the problem. In addition, Canada's economy is resource based (mining and oil) which means that it will hit Canadians harder than most if we stop exporting our resources. Our government's first priority is to represent the people and do what is good for the nation. Do you guys really think that if Canada goes the way of Argentina and bankrupts itself it will help climate change?

FYI- As a sidebar in the 1970's when I was attending elementary school. we kept hearing abot an impending iceage. That was followed by the acid rain crisis, the ozone layer depletion, global warming and now climate change. The difference is that those in power did not hobble the economy trying to fix something that can't fix (unless India and China and others also come onboard).
