RE:RE:RE:Ygr Presentation from Peter’s and Co ConferenceNo expert on this, but I think the "dart"...is a programabe and disolvable tool you send down the tool to place the fracs. Should allow precise placement.
The benefit of this is you don't need wireline or coil tubing to clean well out after the frac and get the well going. The dart dissolves.
However without use of coil tubing or wireline, well is likely to take more days to clean out and start producing at full rates. The wait time is worth it by cost savings.
Perhaps this is why Essential Well Services sold themselves, they have a large coil tubing division and if this dart works...wouldnt be good for Essential future work or any coil tube operator..
Lots of this new tech was prob also developed in lowing amount of carbin emissions in frac and completion process.
