RE:RE:Meanwhile back at the Ranch

Oldnagger: "You are now part of the gang . Or are you?"

For most of us, or at least for me to break even, the Gang will have to trade at about $40-$45. Mid range, it's about $12 billion EV. Compare to a slightly smaller in terms of boe production WCP $8B-$8.5B. Or take CPG, or Baytex, or MEG and write down their EV, EV/BOE, percentage of liquids, Netbacks, sustainable capex + interest payments and whatever else you want.

And don't forget the WCP generous monthly dividend and other peers dividends and buybacks.

Of course, the Gang can do all of the above but it may take time...

In the meantime, when its shares starts trading, most likely there will be a wide gap between bid and asking price, mainly due to limited liquidity and the fact that its a new, little known public company.
That means lots of volatility and if on a given day or week there are more sellers than buyers, shares can easily plunge to very low levels. That may be a good buying opportunity, if you really fall in love with the company and haven't sold yet and reinvested proceeds.

On the other hand, the opposite is possible if the company reports good results (and makes more steals - this time for us, not from us) and buyers step in. Time will tell, if one is willing to hold and wait.
