Why post if you don’t own or borrow the shares?I saw this comment, and one like it many times;
"Not having ever invested into a stock but posting continuously is weird, having some axe to grind for some reason."
I believe there are many reasons: First, in reviewing this company (and a few other small caps) factually, I have realized and learned a tremendous amount a bout the emotional side of investing, on these boards, and it’s making me a better investor.
A number of times, people have made posts, (talking a bout as deal about to announced, upcoming sales, torch contracts, and massive price gains) which have almost made me purchase the stock, because of what sounded very promising and exciting.
As a lone wolf investor-I want to learn from a quantitative aspects of financials but also emotionally
Really Greed kicked in and I could see myself getting easy money.
Once I looked into those promotions, I realized that they were pure speculation, and most times these things didn’t even have a factual basis that you could verify.
Despite this, posters here, insult, deflect, and try to marginalize anyone that uses data and facts.
So…….I learn by discussing and deflecting baseless promotion and in studying failure and the logic behind it, including the biases and greed triggers, you become better at investing
Second, I also learned from posters
Last it's fun
I bet there are many people that follow the leafs that don't own seasons tickets
Even when they lose you can't help watch and discuss
Its human nature
Atvthw end of the day-maybe newbies learn something-if so great
The question is why are promoters/pumpers so worried about it?
Factual discussions of regulatory actions by AMF, declining sales and issues with working capital is something they don't like to hear
Evwe notice some of the pumpers like sci fi are gone
Hmmmm
