Lithology at Piskanja is typical of sedimentary basins, primarily consisting of shales, marls, and limestone, with two primary gently undulating borate beds. "Top of the pile" is just providing some basic information regarding how soon they might be contacted. And when BONE was contacted it was probably to give BONE a date and time to meet, possibly weeks or a few months later. As far as an answer, the minister or deputy minister would probably have to sign off on when information, or in this case the certificate, would be released. Pestering the government would not get them the answer any sooner.
