- Updated Val-D’Or Mineral Resource Estimate (July 2023)
- Total inventory of 3.8Moz M&I and 1.4Moz Inferred category- 28% increase from the 2021 Mineral Resource.
- Novador project has 3.8Moz M&I and 1.2Moz Inferred category - 30% increase from the 2021 Mineral Resource.
- Monique Drill results (Aug 2023)
- Near surface expansion and Infill drilling – intersected significant intercepts 3.8 g/t Au over 24.4 m, 1 g/t Au over 62.5m and 3.3 g/t Au over 20.5m .
- Novador Expansion Drilling – 44,000 metres completed - visual results encouraging.
- Novador Exploration Drilling – 12,000 metres completed - visual results encouraging.
- Drill program
Next quarter - Continue Expansion Drilling program with up to four drills on Novador Monique/Pascalis/Courvan deposits (~15,000m).
- Start Exploration Drilling program at the Val-d’Or East Croinor property with up to two drills on new gold targets (~4,000m).
- Continue geochemical programs on new Exploration targets at Novador.
- Perform an airborne (VTEM) geophysical survey on Val-d’Or East Megiscane property.
- Release drill Results from Expansion and Exploration at Novador.
Development – Q3 achievements
- Updated PEA
- Final Geotechnical Description Received for overburden characterization – Areas of soft clays on the properties that will be managed in the updated PEA.
- Final Pit Slope Design Criteria Received – In general, similar to or better pit slopes than in the 2021 PEA.
- Selection and mobilization of consultants for the updated PEA.
- Process trade-off studies initiated.
- ESG – First ESG report issued.
- Ecologo certification for responsible mining practices awarded.
- Permitting – Second draft of the initial Project Description submitted to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada and final concordance assessment received.
Next quarter - Final Initial Project Description submitted to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada which will kick-off the official start of the federal permitting process.
- Finalize process trade-off studies and selection of final flowsheet to use for updated PEA.
- Establish process plant capacity for updated PEA.
- Advance engineering for selected case to use for updated PEA.
- Stakeholder consultation to continue.
Detour Project Exploration – Q3 achievements
- Detour (Western and Central areas 100% Probe owned)
- Drill program completed (4,900 metres) - visual results encouraging.
- Detour La Peltrie (Midland option)
- Drill program completed (2,700 metres) – visual results encouraging.
