That's 1.6B kg but is just a small amount blended in with fertilizer to make the fertilizer reduction product? Otherwise with the vast amount of farmland in Canada alone that quarry wouldn't cover much of the farmland needs. The product now in 
trials is for grains, but crops like potatoes take $1,000 of fertilizer per acre in eastern Canada, and maybe more in the western US where the season is longer and the spuds are much bigger.
