Yes, the US government of course doesn't recognise the Maduro gov and ironically and on account of the apparent mismanagement of the Citgo cash by Guaido it looks as though there will be a successful auction shortly. But is the Judicial system subject to government dictates on foreign policy ? I am not a lawyer but surely its purpose is to protect the laws of the land to which government itself is subject.   I'm sure your right that Maduro won't get a hearing and on the remote chance that he did it would be thrown out, but is it not a legal possibility ? I'm sure we can't say he won't get a hearing at the Supreme Court solely because the US government says so.  Any other thoughts on this ? Plap, aston ?
