I think it's all they can do. It doesn't feel to me like there is an announcement close. 

LME have operated for decades and then decide to engage with this PR position 6 weeks before announcing a buyout? It doesn't add up to me. I said it back at the time, Steven is here to keep emotions in check and manage the ongoing situation. That would not be necessary if an announcement was due so soon, we would have been left alone. 

I still cannot understand why the data room is a secret. If the aim is to sell then why is the most important information not readily available ? What is the benefit of keeping it a secret if the data is strong? There is an arrogance to expect a buyer with $bn's to come searching for us and begging to be let in. It doesn't feel right. 

I am sure I'll get shot down but I'm looking for answers, not being negative.
