RE:RE:If qrtr. production DOWN 10% will AISC be UP 10%?????It is possible, perhaps even likely, that the crew that was evacuated had their 2-week shift cut short when they were evacuated and that the mobilization on resumption was the start on the next crew's regular shift. If so, there would have been no net additional evacuation costs.
Labour costs would have been down because you only get paid for hours worked.
Other operating costs would have also been down - fuel, electricity and camp costs. So any increase in AISC per ounce would probably have been minimal.
