RE:Interesting read regarding FDA and CBDThe move for CBD to Schedule V in 2018 I suspect was when Trump signed the Farm Act then and made CBD legal at the Federal level BUT that does mean you can by pass the FDA. So any medical claims and or pharmaceutical applications of CBD still has to pass through that eye of the needle, proper filings, proper licenses, proper scientific data and clinical trials.
ps: taking on the FDA legally, dumb move by JAZZ. You cannot patent a naturally derived molecule but you can patent a hybrid plant you developed, you therefore can patent the "formulation" of all the molecules combined that that plant produces and hence the DMF to FDA by LABS was a broad spectrum DMF.
If anyone here at this stage does not understand the difference between broad and full spectrum then pitter patter and get a moving on your due diligence. As well as what the "entourage effect" is. Work by Mechoulam et al along with Dr. David Meiri at Technion in Israel are wonderful places to start, especially Dedi's (David) work on breast cancer tumors being destroyed and seeing the entourage effect first hand. That paper and it's findings were presented in Australia at Technion Australia event.
