They ARE running out of cash.....As far as the "meaning" of exercising the options, Mr. Swyint123 is BANG ON with his view & explanation of the situation. It IS desperation AND to keep the lights on! And will also add the following. Not only did they excercise those options to put some much needed money back into their coffers to pay bills, BUT also to stablize & support a stock price which has been getting beaten down as of late. They cannot afford for their stock price to go too low too quickly or else they (meaning the insders!) cannot unload their massive holdings of wothless stock to the investing public. Which is/was thier BIGGEST source of income & literal cash cow.......
When the well runs dry, this is when you have to worry about a "possible" consolidation of share capital on the horizon. And imho, we or YOU that is, are coming close to that possibility as their avenues & options to scrounge for dollars are running out as well........Just look at qth happened with ScreenPro & Graph.......same play story.... same playbook.....same folks!
And unfortunately for s/h who will get "stuck" with their shares when (not if!!!) it happens......same sad, dreadful & unfortunate outcome!
