IMO, LL+ is vulnerable to market competiton. From what I have read on this BB, flights are listed on LL by consolidator. Given the cheapness of Broadband Internet and the fact most travel agents now use PC's even for CRS access, it is of little difference to them as to whether they access consolidator info of the CRS and Solars, or an internet site. The internet undermines the marketing advantage solars had of being the only company being able to distribute over all GDS systems. I beleive TOurtk has become the 'jewel in the crown' because it offers a sophisticated tour management system to Consolidators and Tour operators, with minimal upfront costs, reduced implementation risk, and IT expenses that become a variable cost of sale rather than a fixed overhead. This gives them some protection in the event of a downtrun in the market. Interested to hear other peoples thoughts. Idle
