I'm posting this as its referring to aerated concrete. England has a history of shoddy construction post war and many of the conventional concrete buildings built in the 60's have been torn down. These were low income multi-story apartments. The UK has become disfunctional and this issue probably has more to do with inspection standards and quality of work than materials. Their fancy high tech Challenger Tanks lasted about 4 days in the Ukraine before they were taken behind the lines for protection.
